A 3D art tribute to the wonderful android Bishop (Aliens, 1986). He has a new handmade face and hair, brand-new knife and watch, and an updated HD outfit.
Dedicated to Lance Henriksen. Thank you for making Bishop who he is!

General info:
Fully refurbished by me. Based on the 2013 Colonial Marines game model, but now high-res and identical to the original USS Sulaco Bishop.
Lovingly revised from photo reference. Uniform is now made of high-resolution materials for the jumpsuit and sneakers.
All skin textures repainted for realistic facial features and better arms/hands.
Face is extensively resculpted to more closely match Lance's actual features and expressions in Aliens.
Hair is restyled for a more movie-accurate color and cut.
Shoulder patches (USS Sulaco) and dog tags (Bishop's ID info) are photo ref'd.
Knife (Gerber Mark II) and watch (Seiko 7A28-6000) are handmade. Sneakers are correct colors.
Accessories:
Shoulder patches say USS Sulaco, photo referenced from a replica patch.
Dog tags are also based on movie replicas and have Bishop’s specific ID information.
Knife (Gerber Mark II) and watch (Seiko 7A28-6000) are handmade and accurate. I made a bonus knife sheath that also matches the real-life one.
Sneakers color palette is fixed to match the movie.
Technical stuff:
This took a couple of months, working on and off. It was incredibly worth it because I love Bishop.
He has an advanced posing rig and armature that’s comparable to current-gen game models such as MK11.
He stands in a typical A-pose.
His textures are 4k (outfit) and 2k (everything else).
Fully retopologized by hand. Polycount is higher than original, to account for higher resolution.
